A qualifying Hatch Cam submission should:

Show the item being opened or cracked, the hidden message being discovered, and/or the recipient's reaction
Be clear enough for us to see what's happening
Generally include at least 10 seconds of usable footage
Be original footage that you have permission to share

Your reaction doesn't need to be positive, promotional or polished.

We're looking for genuine moments—not reviews.

Do I need to edit my video?

No! Please don't feel like you need to. Phone footage is perfect.

Does the video need to show someone's face?

No. We love reaction videos, but footage showing the product being cracked and the message being discovered can qualify too.

What if my reaction isn't picture-perfect?

Even better. We want genuine moments—not staged advertisements.

Can I submit a video with my child in it?

Yes, provided the appropriate parent or legal guardian has authorized submission and use of the footage as described in the Hatch Cam Terms & Content Release.

When will I receive my $5 gift?

We'll review your submission and issue $5 back on your original payment method if it qualifies!

Is this connected to my online review?

No. Hatch Cam is completely separate from product reviews. You do not need to leave a review, and your submission does not need to contain a positive statement about Birdalay.
